RELIANCE is the consulting and training wing of JC Housing. As with all JC Housing Programs, we are constantly looking for ways to build community and develop or preserve housing affordability. We believe that for a community to work, housing must be viewed as essential, and that everyone deserves to be given an equal and just opportunity to access a place to call home. 

Since needs vary dramatically across people with diverse life experiences, we offer both consulting services, and training opportunities:

CONSULTING:

 

Developers depend on JC Housing RELIANCE program to help them access available funding opportunities to develop housing that fits the needs of neighborhoods and communities. Services can include anything from comparable market analysis to private and public fund acquisition, to development of non-profit entities, or to facilitation of strategic partnerships.

RELIANCE can help your existing community in a variety of ways as well. Is your property in need of capital improvements, but the resources are difficult to come by? Or maybe, the return on investment for the available funds is too long to meet your needs? We can help. 

If you are a smaller investor (less than 20 homes), you can access our consulting service through the Clark County Rental Association https://ccrawa.org/. Become a member and ask for us to be your mentor. This service is free with your annual membership dues!

TRAINING:

 

RELIANCE staff has been providing support services to families for over 25 years. We are trained in social and emotional growth, and mental health services for struggling people. Is your community grappling with loss or just generally having a hard time getting along? We can help.
